1. Product Introduction

image.png

Cerium Carbonate is a core basic raw material of cerium-based light rare earths, which is a mainstream hydrated rare earth carbonate powder material in the industry. The product appears as white to pale yellow crystalline powder. High-purity grades are pure white, odorless, non-caking with uniform and stable appearance. It features stable chemical properties, insoluble in water and ethanol at room temperature, but easily soluble in dilute inorganic acids such as hydrochloric acid and nitric acid, releasing carbon dioxide. With excellent thermal decomposition performance, it can be accurately converted into high-activity cerium dioxide powder after high-temperature calcination.
As a key intermediate precursor for rare earth hydrometallurgy, cerium carbonate features controllable impurities, high chemical activity and strong batch stability. It is the core raw material for large-scale preparation of cerium dioxide, cerium nitrate, cerium chloride and other cerium compounds. Widely applied in glass deep processing, precision optical polishing, environmental catalysis, electronic ceramics, new energy materials, industrial water treatment and other high-end industrial fields, it is an indispensable basic functional material in the entire rare earth industrial chain.
